Sgt Janick Joseph Benoit Gilbert 
Age: 34.
Home Town: Baie Comeau, Quebec.
Unit: 424 Squadron, 8 Wing Trenton 
Deceased: October 27, 2011

Incident: Sgt Gilbert died during a search and rescue mission near Igloolik (Hall Bay), Nunavut, in the Canadian Arctic. He and two other rescue technicians had parachuted into icy, stormy waters in the Hecla Strait from a C-130 Hercules aircraft to save a pair of hunters stranded in their boat.

Unit: 435 Transport and Rescue Squadron based at 17 Wing Winnipeg.
Deceased: February 5, 2015

Incident: A Search and Rescue Technician (SAR Tech) is missing after an incident on a training exercise in Banff National Park, Alberta. Mark was caught in an avalanche while ascending the  Polar Circus ice climbing route.
